		<description>Nike New Beginnings is a film about athletes who believe in starting again. They take advantage of every new opportunity and use each chance to its fullest. They do what they enjoy and push themselves forward. This is the power of sport.

Prior to the films official release we also developed a premium press kit that also served as a memorable keep sake for all the athletes and influencers involved with this project.

		<description>In 2012, Nike Japan launched a new baseball collection, designed for hard-ball and Koshien players.
The collection is called "NIKE SHA&#124;DO", SHA(謝) meaning appreciation, and DO(道) meaning way.

We wanted to introduce the SHA&#124;DO collection as though it was meant for a new bread of warriors. Warriors that wake up before the sun to run extra bases, repeat their swings for hours to improve their accuracy, and stay late after practice to take ground balls in order to train faster hands. These warriors are quietly focused, building stronger games in the shadows, and now they are ready to strike.

The result is a 16 page booklet that NIKE sent out to over a thousand highschools in Japan, and an AD featuring the new FLY LEATHER J ELITE SHA&#124;DO LOW cleats.

		<description>In 2008, W+K Tokyo developed a series of on-air station iDs with MTV JAPAN around the idea of “MTV_____ME” to re-ignite that original MTV spirit of how MTV makes you feel.

We then further developed this concept by asking various musician and performers during the 2008 MTV Japan Music Awards, how MTV made them feel.

The result was seven artist iDs featuring, Verbal, Nelly, Simple Plan, Miliyah Kato, Yuna Ito, Aktion, and AI.

		<description>Armed with their Fresh Push Play iPhone App, HIFANA took to the streets of a once again bustling and vibrant Tokyo to sample the city sounds, followed by an electrifying live set at night performed with only iPhone and iPad. We invited a small group of fans to the exclusive Yakatabune boat party on Tokyo Bay and recorded their performance.

		<description>Fresh Push Play is a sampler / sequencer / game app for the iPhone developed in collaboration between Hifana, W+K Tokyo Lab, and Rhizomatiks.

The app has three main functions. The ability to learn and modify the musical melody of two of Hifana's tracks, the opportunity to perform Hifana tracks and share the highest score with Hifana fans using Twitter, and also the ability to record samples using the iPhone mic and sequence them into a melody. Furthermore, users can performane using this app just like Hifana does during their live sets.

The films feature four young gun Japanese footballers and use multiple image screens to show many ways the athletes express themselves. We collaborated with four young Japanese artists to create symbolic illustrations based on specific themes for each athlete and their team. The illustrations were animated and cut into the multiple screens of each edit.

We launched the campaign with a teaser film featuring all four athletes and then followed with a version for each player.

		<description>This campaign introduced several innovative Google search tools to the Japanese market.

These spots were shown in trains, as online flash banners, and in one of Tokyo's busiest stations, Shinawaga station. There was never a sound track made for these spots because there is no audio play back on the screens where these were shown.
