What we set out to communicate was that "there's more to the touch" by capturing people's emotions using the device from the point of view of the screen. For this campaign we produced a BTL film, a developers video, and also product and lifestyle photos to be used for POP situations. <img DIRECTION 4326411 JKD Collective in October of 2012 released a 60 second station id for Japanese music network Space Shower TV, called Synchronized Drops. The spot employed a video technique that makes water droplets appear as though they are frozen in time. This is achieved entirely in-camera using a 30FPS camera and an Oscillator to control the rate at which water droplets flow from a tube while attached to a speaker. It is one thing to see this in camera but we wanted to give people the opportunity to try it themselves. The collection is called "NIKE SHA|DO", SHA(謝) meaning appreciation, and DO(道) meaning way. We wanted to introduce the SHA|DO collection as though it was meant for a new bread of warriors. Warriors that wake up before the sun to run extra bases, repeat their swings for hours to improve their accuracy, and stay late after practice to take ground balls in order to train faster hands. These warriors are quietly focused, building stronger games in the shadows, and now they are ready to strike.
