Leading up to the launch of Spotify in Japan, we released teaser content on their social media channels to help explain what Spotify is in a fun and playful way.

For the content seen here we focus on how Spotify has an overwhelming amount of music in its library, its ability to suggest music will take you on a musical journey, and lastly defining what 'crate digging' means.

My role was to conceptualize, design, and photograph content for their social media channels.

Agency : Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo
TOKYO.NOW is an experimental program about new music and fresh visuals. It's aim is to show what’s happening here and now, in Tokyo’s vibrant creative subculture, and its influence on the world.

Inspired by Japan’s appetite for the new and its never-ending passion for curiosity, the 8th and final episode of TOKYO.NOW features a series of original content based on the theme of Tokyo.Love, from beginning, to and back again.

In this episode I collaborated as the animator for "Voice Flux" with MAS musician Tatsuya Yamada and voice artist Yoshio Otani and Artist / Illustrator Toshiko Kimura.
Hifana is a Japanese breakbeat duo from Tokyo known for their creative and unique live performances. They're one of many hybrid artists on the W+K Tokyo Lab record label.

Hifana Connect is their first ever live album featuring various performances from New York, Shanghai, Taipei, and various other international cities, along with a brand new track and music video entitled Connect.

I was part of a team of seven people working at W+K Tokyo Lab responsible for storyboard design, motion graphics, and compositing for this music video.
WKTLAB’s 10th release, Tokyo.Ten is a compilation of DVD, Book and Blog that chronicles their entire audiovisual output since their first release in 2003. 42 past collaborators from inside and outside of Japan offer their perspectives on Tokyo and Japanese culture, and place their own “dot” on these pages. I was one of these collaborators, and this is the piece I created called Lack of Touch.
